Description We are in the manufacturing industry and are currently seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team in Lambertville, New Jersey. The chosen candidate will be responsible for building and modifying systems to meet project and user requirements, providing advanced troubleshooting for applications and systems, and offering Level III technical support for all IT systems. This role also involves configuring and tuning hardware and software to ensure optimum performance and resource utilization, as well as generating technical support documentation for systems and applications.

Responsibilities:

• Build and modify systems to fulfill project and user requirements

• Provide advanced troubleshooting for applications and systems

• Offer Level III technical support for all IT systems

• Configure and tune hardware and software to maximize performance and resource utilization

• Generate technical support documentation for systems and applications

• Work with Enterprise monitoring tools

• Debug applications, services, and network problems

• Install and configure systems/software unassisted

• Display strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

• Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to meet objectives with minimal supervision

• Show willingness to expand skills and support all areas of the present technology

• Act as part of a team to evaluate solutions, troubleshoot problems, and maintain infrastructure systems

• Analyze and provide implementation plans

• Take ownership of decisions, actions, challenges, and solutions

• Solve challenges in a directed, methodical manner and analyze the current issue to envision creative solutions

• Take initiative to complete critical tasks, especially in team settings with dependencies on other people

• Work effectively in the face of stress, ambiguity, difficult situations, and shifting priorities

• Step outside of “comfort zone” to tackle new issues/challenges in an aggressive manner

• Challenge the status quo to generate new ideas and implement unique solutions to fix challenging problems

• Collaborate and openly seek and share information across teams and departments

• Maintain a solid background in his or her technical field and continually augment experience and skills with the latest research results and techniques

• Demonstrate a bold commitment to the total alignment of actions, words, and professional beliefs. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Cisco Technologies

• Proven experience with Database management

• Familiarity with Dell Technologies

• Working knowledge of EO/IR systems

• Proficiency in Linux Technologies

• Experience with Active Directory

• Proven skills in Backup Technologies

• Understanding and experience with Computer Hardware

• Experience in Configuration Management
