Position Summary: Supervise the day-to-day activities and meets all necessary deadlines associated with Parker payroll responsibilities for all USA employees. Essential Functions: Hire, supervise, train, evaluate and develop employees within the Corporate Payroll Department. Maintain and balance payroll dollar calculations to ensure all SOX controls are in compliance. Coordinate and distribute daily workload to ensure all deadlines are met. Ensure executive compensation programs are processed accurately per plan guidelines. Perform account analysis and resolve open items. Provide processing backup for out of office team members. Interact with all levels of management (i.e. Division Controllers, Division Human Resource Managers and Group/Corporate Management). Provide training support to division personnel on Payroll processing. Manage external relationship with garnishment processor. Develop and monitor department metrics to insure a continuous improvement process. Coordinate testing of new options as needed. Responsible for decision making on positive pay items. Maintain and process 1099-Misc thru Accounts Payable. Maintain complete and accurate standard work procedures. Manage quarter and year-end tax requirement for W-2 reporting. Complete monthly treasury forecast for payroll values. Qualifications: Four-year college degree preferred or applicable experience. CPP certification a plus. 8-10 years or more prior payroll experience. Understands the process of tax calculation gross through net. Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrates strong training and continuous improvement skills. UKG Payroll experience a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
