Press Brake Machine Operator

Job Information:

• Contract-to-Hire

• Located in Lakewood Industrial Park

• Dayshift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

• Industry: Stainless steel / metal fabrication

• Paying $22 - $26 per hour (must have prior Press Brake experience listed on resume)

  Press Brake Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Reviews customer order, asks questions when needed and deciphers basic prints and diagrams

• Sets-up brake press machinery and stages materials needed for production run.

• Calls up existing brake press programs to bend, press and form stainless steel used to create stands, containers, and various other support and critical infrastructure pieces designed to support pharmaceutical-grade, manufacturing tanks & vessels

• Preforms safety checks on all equipment and conducts test run on material then verifies sizes, dimension, angles, etc.

• Preforms various other manufacturing support duties as needed

  Press Brake Machine Operator Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• At least two (2) years of prior experience operating other brake press equipment.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs when needed. Frequently lifts 25lbs regularly.

• Ability to use both arms, hands and legs including bending, stooping, walking, carrying, lifting, lifting overhead, climbing ladders, and the ability to carry material up and down stairs if needed.
