Ferguson is actively hiring a Facilities Manager, Regional Field Support - Northeast ! This is a great opportunity to lead in the management and oversight of facilities. We are currently building a team and each region will offer field support in this function.
Ferguson’s Portfolio:
We exceed 1500 sites, 58m square feet, with approximately 83% leased and 17% owned, representing approximately $400m across the entire portfolio.
Location:
This is a remote position which can be based out of any major city in the Northeast Corridor/Region. This position will require up to 25% travel for required meetings and site visits. States include Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania (eastern), Virginia, and Washington DC.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the repair, maintenance and proactive lifecycle asset replacement for a regional real estate portfolio of up to 150-200 locations, ensuring all facilities meet Ferguson standards.
Contribute to and implement the Integrated Facilities Management strategies for all owned and leased properties.
Work alongside a national facilities team while collaborating with landlords, contractors, suppliers, and internal partners like Finance, customer groups, and corporate/field level executive members.
Deliver a white-glove customer service experience to our field-level associates and their handling of both routine and ad hoc service needs, focusing on exceptional service, speed for delivery, and cost efficiency.
Ensure all critical systems across the assigned region, including fire protection, HVAC, back-up UPS, generator systems, etc. are routinely and properly maintained and performing reliably.
Lead a region-wide program to ensure our assets are inspected routinely, stay in sync with all relevant codes, laws, and regulations, and uphold the highest safety and security measures.
Develop and align necessary documentation related to Business Continuity, Operations Manuals, Emergency Preparedness, etc. preparing all assigned sites for expected and unexpected events.
Communicate with internal customers on a regular cadence to update them on their portfolio’s performance and provide strategic analysis and recommendations via detailed reports and presentations.
Create, monitor, and handle the overall budget for Facilities Management for the assigned region, as well as coordinate maintenance and repair expenses in the field while driving cost savings initiatives.
Analyze existing and planned capital investments to determine their suitability for the assigned region and ensure alignment with the overall Facilities Management strategy.
Work closely with Project Management to assist with all renovations, additions, or new building projects, ensuring alignment with Facilities Management strategies and objectives.
Drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction through best-in-class practices.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of facilities services.
Standardize services, negotiate vendor agreements, and optimize budgets to achieve cost efficiency while maintaining service standards.
Qualifications:
5-7+ years’ experience in facilities management, preferably industrial and/or standalone retail locations, with proven experience in being responsible for multi-location portfolios.
Bachelor’s in Facilities Management, Business Management, Technical Facilities, or a similar field or equivalent experience.
Strong technical skills and familiarity with key infrastructure systems (fire protection, HVAC, back-up UPS and generator systems) along with other facilities management functions, including asset lifecycle management.
Strong skills in budgeting, relationship building, time management, risk mitigation, project management, planning, and communication both written and verbally.
Understanding of national and local laws and regulations, along with the willingness to adapt and pivot with changes.
Ability to engage effectively with partners at all levels, internal and external, including the Executive Leadership Team, and act as a strategic advisor.
Perform with a strong sense of urgency, with high expectations, around driving costs from the company P&L and best preparing Ferguson for future growth.
Proven capability in Integrated Facilities Management, aiming to achieve best-in-class results while fostering a culture of trust, accountability and collaboration.
Ability to travel up to 25% is required.

Pay Range:

$5,827.50 - $10,890.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
