Job Overview:
The Cardiac Arrhythmia Tech prepares and educates patients on telemetry transmitter, telemetry monitoring and electrocardiograms. Uses and understands the principles of growth and development to assess each patient's age-specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care. Assists new employees in the policy and procedures of the department. Supports the philosophy, objectives, mission and vision of Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus.
Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
BLS through the American Heart Association
Successful completion of all orientation programs
Preferred
- Successful completion of a cardiac dysrhythmia course
Scheduling Requirements:
Per Diem
Night Shift

Prepares and educates patients on telemetry transmitter, telemetry monitoring and electrocardiograms.

Assists new employees in the policy and procedures of the department.

Performs all other duties as assigned
