Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team based in Lakewood, California. The chosen candidate will play a key role in managing accounts payable, analyzing workflow processes, and establishing relationships with vendors. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing full-cycle accounts payable and ensuring accurate GL coding.

• Utilizing accounting software and other programs to manage accounts payable for separate entities and vendors.

• Analyzing, improving, and implementing workflow processes.

• Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors.

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions based on analyses.

• Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Maintaining accurate customer credit records.

• Utilizing skills such as Accrual Accounting, Auditing, and Automated Clearing House (ACH) for efficient operations.

• Leveraging Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning for optimal results.

• Ensuring compliance with ADP Financial Services and Concur regulations. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a related role

• Advanced knowledge and experience with Accounting Software Systems

• Proficient in using ADP - Financial Services software

• Experience with Concur software is a plus

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems

• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) operations

• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting principles

• Prior experience in Auditing and Automated Clearing House (ACH) is desirable

• Ability to perform Account Coding accurately and efficiently

• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
