Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to develop and manage manufacturing methods and procedures, ensuring efficient production and continuous improvement. You will be working in a dynamic environment with opportunities for growth and development in various industrial markets.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.

  • Conduct time studies and workflow analysis to identify areas for improvement.

  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase efficiency.

  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Collaborate with design and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and quality of products.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues to minimize downtime and improve productivity.

  • Evaluate and select equipment, tools, and technologies to enhance manufacturing capabilities.

  • Train and support production staff on new processes and equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the consumer or industrial product industry.

  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
