Sanfilippo & Son, IncJob Description Maintenance Inventory-PM CoordinatorSummary of the Position: The Maintenance Inventory Parts Clerk is responsible for managing and organizing the inventory of spare parts and supplies necessary for the smooth operation of machinery and equipment.Functions of the Position:% of TimeorMarginal (M)Essential (E)Functions Performed30%EMaintains accurate records of all spare parts and supplies used in the maintenance department. Utilize Express Maintenance database to track stock levels, monitor use of parts, and identify restocking needs.30%ECollaborates with the maintenance team to determine the required spare parts and supplies. Ensures critical spare parts are stocked to minimize downtime. Initiates purchase requisitions, processes purchase orders, and follows up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts while maintaining cost-effectiveness.10%EReceives incoming inventory shipments and verify the accuracy of items received against purchase orders.10%EArranges and maintains an orderly inventory storage area to ensure easy accessibility and efficient retrieval of parts.10%EWorks closely with maintenance technicians to issue the necessary spare parts and supplies per maintenance requests.5%EConducts regular inventory audits of parts and supplies to ensure it matches with records of physical stock levels. Identify and investigate quantity discrepancies between stock, documentation, and inventory system.5%MAssists with maintenance and/or repair activities as needed. Performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment. Utilizes hand and power tools to facilitate work.Responsible to support safety culture by practicing safe work behaviors, reporting potential hazards, and conducting safety observations.Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following current good manufacturing practices, allergen/sanitation controls, food defense/food fraud, HACCP, FSMA, SQF, and regulatory requirements.Aware and accountable in maintaining and documenting preventative controls necessary to ensure food safety and quality.Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to management.Responsible for partnering with others, sharing knowledge, skills and information within assigned team and across functional areas.Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development.Responsible to comply with all safety policies and procedures established for health and workplace safety.Qualifications:Basic maintenance knowledge, i.e., knowledge of tools, parts, and materials.Proven experience as an inventory clerk or stock room experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.Experience with a CMM system, including data entry and report generation.Education, Experience and Knowledge:Skills and CompetenciesAble to speak, read and write English.Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain an effective working relationship with co-workers/department leaders is necessary.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management software.Detailed oriented with good math skills.- Strong Mechanical skills and aptitude.Job Specific RequirementsThis position is subject to mandatory overtime based on business needs.In the event the Maintenance Inventory Parts Clerk is absent, the department manager is responsible for providing an equally qualified person to cover this position.Equal Opportunity Employer - minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity
