We are looking for two Maintenance Technicians. One Electrician, One Millwright
Millwright
Responsibilities:
Maintain and update mechanical components for all equipment as well as some electrical components.
Perform preventative/predictive/proactive maintenance of manufacturing related equipment using prescribed techniques.
Inspect equipment to assure safe operating conditions prior to start up.
Provide mechanical technical support as well as some electrical support to maintain and improve equipment.
Maintain log of repairs and of completed preventative maintenance in CMMS.
Establish frequencies and provide preventative maintenance activities for end of line test equipment.
Shut down equipment due to unsafe and /or process out of control conditions.
Complete equipment changeovers in accordance with established standards and downtime procedures.
Design and modify mechanical tooling.
Design/build machines.
Upgrade equipment utilizing latest technologies.
Support data acquisition objectives.
Review equipment operation/maintenance information manuals.
Qualifications:
Must have Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A) certification.
Completed a recognized apprenticeship program as an Industrial Mechanic Millwright.
5 years’ experience in an IATF16949, ISO9001 automotive lean manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Bearings-materials/design/application.
Ability to maintain and troubleshoot compressed air systems.
Knowledge of Mechanical calculations.
Knowledge of reading mechanical and electrical blueprints and schematics.
Knowledge of rigging and hoisting applications and equipment.
Knowledge of MIG, TIG, ARC, Torches and fabricating principles.
Forklift and aerial lift certifications.
Knowledge of troubleshooting and debugging of industrial controls and equipment
Experience with safety circuit wiring and exposure to PHSR certification.
Understand electrical and process instrumentation diagrams.
Knowledge of various vision systems.
Knowledge with modifying jobs and crash recoveries for robots.
Must be computer literate.
Electrician
Responsibilities:
Maintain and update electrical and mechanical components for all equipment.
Maintain PLC programming plant wide, update and modify PLC programs where necessary.
Performs preventative maintenance of manufacturing related equipment using the prescribed techniques.
Inspects equipment to assure safe operating conditions prior to start-up.
Maintains log of repairs and of completed preventative maintenance.
Provide electrical and mechanical technical support to maintain and improve automated and semi-automated equipment.
Maintain facilities by performing electrical wiring repairs and modifications.
Review all equipment operation/maintenance information/manuals supplied to assembly technicians
Responsible for shutting down equipment due to unsafe and/or process out of control conditions.
Completes equipment changeovers in accordance with established standards
Design and modify electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical tooling
Provide leadership role in upgrading automation equipment utilizing latest technologies.
Troubleshoot and repair all electrical wiring
Complies with 5S standards and procedures
Completes any other assignments, duties and projects that may be assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have Industrial Electrician certification/license (309A or 442A)
5 years’ experience in an ISO/TS16949 automotive lean manufacturing environment
Knowledge of safety and workplace hazardous materials procedures
Prescribed equipment maintenance/operating/monitoring skills
Must have working experience of single phase, 3 phase, fiber optic etc.
Must have working experience of 600 V AC through 24 V DC power supply systems
Must be experienced in the installation, maintenance and programming of PLC’s.
Knowledge of Bearings-materials/design/application.
Ability to maintain/troubleshoot/PM compressed air systems.
Knowledge of Mechanical Calculations-properties of power factors/electrical horsepower/etc.
Able to design/build machines with the aid of Manufacturing Engineering.
Ability to wire circuit panels and install a variety of motors, pumps and relays.
Experience with safety circuit wiring and exposure to PHSR certification.
Familiar with process instrumentation (RTUs, EFM, transducers, switches) including installation, calibration and maintenance.
Understand electrical and process instrumentation diagrams.
Knowledge of NEC and API codes.
Knowledge and experience with industrial control hardware and communication systems (PLCs, HMI, DCS, SCADA, Ethernet, Omron, RS232, RS485, radio, etc.)
