Lockheed Martin Sr. Payroll Specialist in Lakeland, Florida

Description: Support in-house weekly payroll processing including but not limited to; final pay processing, calculate FLSA & Non-FLSA retro payments, prepare tax balance adjustments & W2c's, Identify and calculate overpayments, balance and adjust leave accruals and benefits, set up deductions and arrears. Respond to tier 2 payroll inquiries from employee's and internal business unit's. Maintain backup support for audit & Sox compliance. Additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Proven understanding of in-house payroll processing

Proven ability to work on a fast pace high volume payroll team

Proven ability to react quickly and timely to payroll inquires

Extremely detailed, organized and mistake proofing quality workmanship

Ability to work remotely

Quick to adapt to changing technology, collaboration sites, systems and computers

Proficient with excel

Proven work experience with calculating gross to net paychecks

Exceptional customer service skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proven ability to collaborate with a large team both virtually and face to face

Desired Skills:

Current or prior CPP/FPC

Experience with People Soft Payroll Platform

Experience with SAP Payroll Platform

5 Years experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
