Where you'll work:

Our Lakeland, FL location is part of our beverage division and specializes in distillation and flavor products for Kerry customers and brands. We are looking for someone to help us keep things running!

We have an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician. The schedule for this role is Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM!

What you'll do:

Youll work with the Maintenanceteam to complete building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting and installation, fulfillment of assigned work orders and unforeseen repairs in a timely fashion. Youll follow good manufacturing practices to maintain inventory, preventative maintenance, good housekeeping and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations. Important areas of operations youll work on (but are not limited to):

• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearing, gears, and other parts of machinery

• Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic steam, pneumatic equipment

• Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and other related equipment

• Building maintenance including minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep

What you'll need to be successful in this role:

Minimum 3 years or more of maintenance experience working in a manufacturing environment; food/beverage experiencehighly preferred

High school diploma or GED is required; college degree preferred

Must be knowledgeable in operating and maintaining air compressors and air dryers.

Must be able to install production equipment.

Must beknowledgeable in theoperating principles of steam, hydraulic, pneumatic systems and able to troubleshoot and repair their mechanical components.

Must be able to read piping diagrams and identify the function of various components for air and water distributions systems.

Must be able to perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs.

PLC experience is highlypreferred.

Salary:

The typical hiring range for this role is $32.00 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime.
