Join the Publix Technology Payment Services Fraud Team as an Intermediate Business Systems Analyst where you will be responsible for playing a key role interacting with various enterprise teams to define and develop solutions for eCommerce Payment Fraud strategy at Publix. In this role you will primarily perform data analysis, project management and scrum master roles by understanding data trends and business processes, developing project plans, managing projects, monitoring project performance and team deliverables to ensure timelines are met for highly complex technology solutions that occur within the Agile scrum framework to support the Fraud objectives for Publix eCommerce payments platform.
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing suspicious behavior, problem solving, writing documents to share with business users and Technology leadership, planning, organizing, driving sprints and deliveries, and presenting to small and medium sized audiences working with cross functional teams. You will communicate frequently with management, peers, vendors, and Technology and business teams.
Responsibilities:
Serve as product champion for complex products, facilitating overall team collaboration and product deliverables, conveying product vision, prioritizing the product backlog, and communicating with product leadership, sponsors, and stakeholders
Facilitate scrum events and ceremonies
Perform in-depth data analysis to answer questions asked by product stakeholders providing information that can guide the Fraud Strategy’s roadmap
Develop project plans, estimation of projects, management of projects, monitoring project performance, and backlog management
Collaborate with teams to identify risks, remove bottlenecks and impediments, execute schedules, and refine sprint backlogs.
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions to document business and system requirements (i.e., security, capacity, regulatory, scalability, reliability, recovery, and audit), user stories, and refine product backlog for complex technology solutions under less specific guidance; ensure work performed is in line with business strategy
Research business industry trends and report on findings and make recommendations based on those trends
Develop and document business acceptance criteria, perform UAT as required, and validate acceptance criteria has been met
Serve as contact for system issues and perform problem resolution on complex problems under less specific guidance
Be available for 24/7 on-call support, which is scheduled in advance and rotates between team members

Year End Bonus:
As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience analyzing business problems and translating business requirements into technology solutions.
3+ years of experience performing data analysis exploring available data to find hidden patterns, or unknown relationships that can help guide product decisions.
2+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master within an Agile Scrum framework and its application in product design, development, and delivery.
1+ years of SQL or variant experience
Experience working with Microsoft Excel, being able to create charts, graphs, and pivots by leveraging various functions and macros.
Experience working with stakeholders/business users directly.
Experience working with Power BI
Experience working with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Ability to participate in 24/7 on-call support on an as-needed basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience performing data analysis.
5+ years of business systems analysis experience
2+ years of experience with Power BI
Knowledge of EFT Payment Processing, and Payments Fraud within an eCommerce environment and risk-based management solutions
Knowledge of PCI/PII rules and regulations
Experience with Machine Learning, Azure Databricks and Data Modeling
