Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an excavator and front end loader on site to move materials and build stockpiles. You will also move trash and recycled material using the front end loader.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavator and front end loader to move materials and build stockpiles.

• Move trash and recycled material using the front end loader.

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment.

• Perform routine maintenance checks and report any issues.

• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Essential Skills

• Experience operating an excavator and front end loader.

• Proficiency in heavy equipment operation.

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Strong understanding of safety protocols.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience at C&D or transfer station.

• Murph certification.

• GPS proficiency.

Work Environment

This position requires working outdoors, including in the Florida heat. You will work a schedule from Monday to Sunday, with a requirement to work six 12-hour shifts per week. Optional work is available for a seventh day if desired.
