About the role

As a CBRE Account Operations Manager, you will advise and be responsible for the maintenance management staff and safety programs for small to medium-sized facilities or properties. You'll lead multiple functions of building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus or portfolio of buildings.

This job is part of the Contract Quality Management job function. They are responsible for managing the delivery of contractual services to ensure requirements are fulfilled.

What you’ll do

  • Coordinates, oversees and/or handles repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance and janitorial work. This includes plumbing, electrical, HVAC and fire systems.

  • Responsible for facilities inspections and reports.

  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with clients. Attends client meetings.

  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

  • Track vendor performance on outsourced provider service contracts and ongoing administration. Verify best pricing and service level performance.

  • Manage ongoing evaluation of utility consumption rate structures and suggest cost reduction programs.

  • Supervise the efficiency of maintenance efforts for facilities, ensuring work is completed under account KPIs.

  • Responsible for client account inspections. Document inspection report results and resolve any issues, concerns, etc. with the client.

  • Leads vendor relationships and trains vendors on work order and billing procedures. Responsible for invoice processing and accuracy of cost center coding.

  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Supervise the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and mentor. Lead all aspects of the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of meaningful experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Hands on plumbing, electrical, HVAC experience is preferred.

  • Facility Management certification preferred. Driver's license may be required. EPA Universal is preferred

  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and balance problems.

  • Leadership skills to empower team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Corrigo experience is helpful

  • Extensive interpersonal skills with a strong inquisitive attitude
