Job Description

Supports payroll/application project implementation, production activities and enhancement assignments.

Job Responsibility

  • Gathers and documents business requirements, performs fit-gap analysis, establishes priorities and timelines, and develops functional specifications; assists in design, implementation, and maintenance of application and application applications by using standard project planning methodologies and documentation procedures.

  • Collaborates with IT resources, business units, and support teams to test and validate data; provides functional expertise during design phase through configuration, testing and upgrades.

  • Defines, develops, and executes test plans and scripts for implementation of new functionality or modified functionality, using standard project planning methodologies and documentation procedures.

  • Serves as lead on designing interfaces, data conversions and customizations as well as managing testing phases and issue resolution of the project; advises project team on best practices regarding configuration and setup of payroll/application system.

  • Partners with Payroll to support business operations and satisfy user inquiries, resolve issues and support applications including: modifying or developing new queries and reports and establishing appropriate utilization of new features in upgrade release(s) to maximize operability.

  • Analyzes and prepares payroll and application data in effective and clear formats for use by management and staff.

  • Analyzes data and metrics for HR and key stakeholders by creating ad-hoc reports and/or manipulation delivered reports to meet client needs.

  • Communicates and educates users on system changes and new functionality and troubleshoot problems.

  • Creates payroll/ application training materials and delivers training to end users, as needed.

  • Operates under limited guidance and work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Job Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, required.

  • Strong analytical/excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, etc.), preferred.

  • Prior experience with HR management software, preferred.

The salary range for this position is $58,540-$92,650/year
