Job Title: Dietary Worker

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our food service team as utility workers, dishwashers, tray passers, and cooks. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks that ensure the efficient operation of our food service department.

Responsibilities

• Assemble patient trays in a timely and accurate manner according to patients' requests and therapeutic diet orders.

• Serve cafeteria customers in a timely and courteous manner.

• Handle cash accurately and operate the cash register.

• Prepare food for patients, cafeteria, and special functions.

• Clean work areas related to the preparation and serving of food.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

• Compliance with dress code requirements.

• No previous experience required.

• Ability to learn and use established techniques for efficient and compliant completion of duties.

Work Environment

You will be working in a hospital setting that includes both a brand-new cafe and an older kitchen. The environment is climate-controlled to ensure comfort while performing your duties. Please note that compliance with our dress code is required, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays is necessary.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00
