Randstad Digital is partnered with a client seeking a Project Coordinator / Jr PM to join their team in a long-term contract. This position will sit 100% remote and start as a 1 year engagement with opportunities for extension.

The hiring manager is seeking a candidate with property & casualty (P&C) insurance industry knowledge and hands-on experience with project coordination.

location: Lake Mary, Florida

responsibilities:

Responsible for project management support to ensure consistent implementation and improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness and/or internal and external customer service. Works with the project manager to understand the business needs and consults and partners with business leaders in planning projects and programs.

Provides analysis and decision support to business to help deliver on key business priorities. Interacts and collaborates with multiple disciplines to gather information, perform analysis, and make recommendations to management to drive continuous improvement. Collects and synthesizes feedback from project resources and SMEs to inform decision making. Prepares reports using relevant internal and external data.

Participates in defining process performance measures, determines data availability, advises operational reporting group of required measures, and develops methods and tools to track process performance.

Creates project documentation including but not limited to, Project status updates, project plans, presentations, meeting minutes, communications and other relevant documentation

Supports the project manager in gathering resources, setting and maintaining schedules, guiding project team members and executing administrative tasks

May act as business project manager for projects with limited engagement with external stakeholders.

May perform additional duties as assigned.
