Kelly Engineering is seeking a dedicated Project Manager for our client located in the Orlando, FL area. As a Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of project execution, serving as the vital link between our engineering team and our valued customers. Your expertise in project management and engineering will ensure the successful delivery of projects in the power systems sector, maintaining our client's reputation for quality and reliability.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Oversee the design and implementation of switchgear lineups, ensuring industry-standard compliance and successful project delivery.

  • Interpret and analyze customer specifications, aligning them with project quotes to deliver precise project outcomes.

  • Manage the creation of detailed project documents such as single-line diagrams, schematic diagrams, and bills of material.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate production drawings, facilitating effective manufacturing processes.

  • Coordinate the preparation and distribution of drawing transmittals, ensuring clear communication with production staff and customers.

  • Act as the primary point of contact between project management, customers, and production teams, ensuring seamless project execution.

  • Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting throughout production and factory acceptance testing.

  • Conduct thorough technical reviews, offering feedback to ensure compliance with project standards and excellence.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with a strong understanding of power and control systems.

  • Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, Promis-E , or similar CAD programs.

  • Ability to read and interpret customer specifications, compare them to project quotes, and provide technical feedback.

  • In-depth knowledge of medium voltage switchgear and power system applications.

  • Experience with relay applications and coordination.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively address customer needs.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to apply IEEE and ANSI standards throughout project execution.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
