Kelly Services is actively recruiting for a R&D Process Lab Tech for a Long Term Contract opportunity in Lake Jackson, TX.

Process Technician

The R&D Process Lab Tech. will provide support to Catalyst Scale Up R&D team members. This role covers several aspects of catalyst synthesis and development support. The role requires a high level of independence and initiative, meticulous attention to detail, self-motivation, interpersonal effectiveness and reliability. The role may include but is not limited to the following responsibilities.

• Follow Operating Discipline principles, procedures and practices to ensure safe and efficient laboratory operation.

• Conduct catalyst preparation, analysis, testing under the instructions of Catalyst Scale Up R&D team members in the group. Skill-specific training will be provided.

• Master all aspects of safe sampling and analysis of catalyst, catalyst components and raw materials. Master all aspects of safe handling of air and moisture sensitive materials using proper techniques such as vacuum lines, inert atmosphere glove boxes, nitrogen pads.

• Sample shipping.

• RCRA waste management.
