Position Summary:
Under the supervision of healthcare provider, performs EEG's awake and asleep. Performs technological duties associated with electroencephalographic (EEG) scans, providing doctors with information regarding neurological and nervous system activity.
Reports to: Cardiopulmonary Director
FLSA: Non-exempt
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Education X High school diploma or equivalent X Required X Graduate of a Program in Discipline or at least 2 years of experience in discipline Required Drag Edit Delete
Required Skills Employee must have exceptional communication skills and work with physicians to provide care and diagnostic testing for the patient. Ability to do EMGs, and nerve conduction studies preferred but not mandatory. Drag Edit Delete
Required Skills Certifications: X Basic Life Support - 30 days *ACLS certification supersedes BLS as it is a higher level certification X EEG certification within 3 years X Registry in discipline preferred
