The Barback is responsible for setting up hospitality and function carts, filling requisitions for Bartenders and Beverage Servers and helping to set-up functions. Provide excellent and friendly service. Must have thorough knowledge of beverage inventory and menus. Be in compliance with the Nautical Resorts and Arizona State Liquor policies at all times. Get ice for all the wells. Prepare fruit trays. Garnishes are important for the drinks. Make sure there are some backups. Check the freshness and shelf life of all products and dispose of outdated items. Restock the bar with beer, liquor, wine, glassware, juices, etc. Make sure that everything is at the bar and that there are enough backups for the shift. Maintains par stock levels by placing orders for wine, champagne, beer, liquor, and Rotating the products. Check the draft beers to make sure they\'re working and that they\'re not empty. If they\'re empty, change the kegs. Stock and Replace trash bags, towels and office supplies. Make sure that the bar is clean before opening it. Collect empty glasses from the bar. Assist in bussing tables and bar area. Wash glassware. Wipe the bar top constantly. Work closely with the bartender on anything that he/she needs. Clean the bar. Get rid of all trash and boxes. Make sure that the beer cooler is clean and organized. Secure all equipment and product at closing.
