Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager - Public in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. This role primarily involves the preparation and filing of various federal and state tax forms, providing tax guidance and planning, and undertaking research projects throughout the year.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and review business and individual tax returns.

• Conduct tax planning and projections as requested by clients.

• Oversee staff involved in tax return preparation.

• Maintain effective client and staff relationships.

• Research and resolve complex tax issues.

• Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.

• Stay updated on changes in tax law through detail-oriented literature, seminars, and training courses.

• Consult with clients to understand their financial affairs and the scope of their tax liabilities.

• Respond to client inquiries via calls and emails in a timely manner.

• Evaluate performance on client engagements.

• Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements • The applicant must have at least 7 years of experience in a similar role.

• Proficiency in tax planning strategies is a must.

• The candidate should be well-versed in tax compliance processes.

• Holding a CPA certification is a prerequisite for this position.

• The applicant must have experience working in a CPA firm.

• The candidate should be proficient in preparing complex tax returns.

• Experience in consolidated tax return preparation is required.

• The candidate must be skilled in corporate tax return preparation.

• The applicant should have experience in individual tax return preparation.

• Proficiency in income tax return preparation is essential.
