JOB REQUIREMENTS: Perform sales engagements with customers on site, reviewing product features and benefits, preparing quotes and trade evaluations. Effectively follow successful sales processes, including timely completion of paperwork. Maintain a strong knowledge of on hand and on order boat inventory. Perform customer on water boat demonstrations. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, coworkers and management. Actively participate in boat shows, store and off-site sales and customer events. Complete closing documents with customers and sell F&I products. Complete registration title documents and manufacturing warranty registrations Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs. Compute sales prices, total purchases, and receive and process cash or credit payment. Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires. Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise. Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices. Demonstrate use or operation of merchandise. Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers. Maintain records related to sales. Prepare sales slips or sales contracts. Estimate and quote trade-in allowances. Sell or arrange for delivery, insurance, financing, or service contracts for merchandise. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 2 years sales experience selling boats, autos, RVs or power sport equipment.
