The Senior Applications Solution Engineer for Enrollment and Product is responsible for leading the technical requirements gathering and design sessions with stakeholders as it relates to Enrollment and Product software systems and/or applications (cloud and/or on-premises). The individual in this position translates product vision to the Managed Service Provider (“MSP”) team, disseminating knowledge, technical requirements, and design documentation. Identifies and evaluates project constraints and risks; researches and monitors new technologies, frameworks, and tools that would improve development workflows and optimize technological capabilities to meet business needs. This role drives the MSP to scope, design, and present Proof of Concepts that have potential to become products, analyzing for technical feasibility and implementation risks and ensures solutions are in alignment to existing enterprise architecture framework and business standards. The Senior Applications Solution Engineer serves as a technical resource for Enrollment and Product design implementations across teams, creates solution designs based on conceptual design and stated business requirements and identifies and evaluates new Enrollment and Product technologies for implementation. This individual participates in software design meetings, analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements, ensures solutions align to business and IT strategies and participates in defining roadmaps for Enrollment and Product applications.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days at our campus in Lake Forest, IL, and 2 days remote.
The Senior Applications Solution Engineer for Enrollment and Product:
Drives the solution of technical initiatives with business roadmap/strategy.
Evaluates emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
Provides strategic guidance on product roadmap and feature prioritization.
Leads the conceptualization, solution design, and implementation of new and existing features for the existing portfolio of Enrollment and Product applications.
Collaborates with architects on processes, tooling and frameworks required for the delivery of features in the sprint or product backlog.
Develops alternative solutions for Enrollment and Product business problems.
Accountable for the overall delivery of the Enrollment and Product applications.
Bachelor’s Degree and/or 8 – 10 years of related experience.
