He/she | | | has experience leading other | | | craft professionals. | | | | | | YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:(Reasonable | | | accommodations may be made to | | | enable individuals with | | | disabilities to perform the | | | essential functions of the job.) | | | | | | - Be able to perform all of the | | | essential functions of the | | | craft workers under his/her | | | supervision. | | | - Perform task planning to | | | safely and efficiently carry | | | out all aspects of that work | | | assigned. | | | - Train/teach safety practices, | | | policies, and procedures | | | related to an employees | | | assigned tasks. Provide | | | on-the-job training to those | | | individuals under his/her | | | supervision. Ensure that | | | Laborers are qualified to | | | perform their work. | | | - Gain complete understanding | | | of scope of work and related | | | parts of project. | | | - Develop a thorough | | | understanding of project | | | plans, specifications, and | | | schedules as they relate to | | | that portion of the work | | | assigned. | | | - Conduct tool box meetings and | | | communicate safety concerns, | | | work scope, plans, and | | | schedules to the crews. | | | - Plan and communicate with the | | | warehouse, purchasing, and | | | supervisor to assure that an | | | adequate supply of tools, | | | materials, and equipment are | | | available. | | | - Ensure through personal | | | inspections that correct | | | construction procedures are | | | followed and work is in | | | compliance with the plans and | | | specifications. | | | - Point out deficiencies, | | | explain, and take corrective | | | action as needed. |
