About the Role: Are you ready to be an essential part of a dynamic team? We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our distribution center. This position offers a competitive pay range and a structured work schedule to provide stability and growth opportunities.

Pay:

• $17-$20 per hour

Shifts Available:

• 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 2 PM-10:30 PM, Friday 11 AM-7:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Forklift Operation: Operate a forklift for nearly 90% of the day, primarily loading and unloading trucks.

• Quality Control: Perform quality control checks on orders to ensure accuracy.

• Receiving & Organizing: Receive products and organize them in the warehouse.

• Pallet Consolidation: Consolidate pallets to optimize warehouse space.

Skills and Abilities Required:

• Experience: 1-2 years of manufacturing/warehouse experience.

• Forklift Skills: 2-5 years of sit-down forklift experience (electric or gas).

• Labeling: Experience printing shipping labels through UPS/FedEx or similar software.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to grasp and understand product layout sheets and read artwork.

• Communication: Good written and verbal skills; bilingual is a plus.

• Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime when necessary.

Business Challenge: These positions are open due to the rapid growth of our distribution center. We need skilled material handlers to help us meet increasing demand and maintain our high standards of quality.

Work Site: This is a fully on-site position in Lake Bluff, Illinois.
