Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
As a Machinist Level III, you will be responsible for metal cutting, drilling, grinding, and deburring parts to meet control plan specifications. You will also stage parts using forklifts and pallet jacks, load raw materials into CNC machines, deburr parts, and perform general helper duties around the machine shop. This role requires flexibility as you will be asked to assist with various tasks to ensure parts are ready for production.
Responsibilities
Responsible for production, quality, housekeeping, and other related duties.
Set up and operate CNC machines, transport material, and operate wash tanks and forklifts.
Follow control plans and quality standards for assigned machines or jobs.
Troubleshoot and solve everyday problems.
Maintain flexibility to move between different machines and tasks.
Essential Skills
1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience running a machine in a manufacturing environment (CNC preferred).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience performing quality inspections on finished parts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Sit down forklift experience.
Deburring experience.

Work Environment
The machine shop is a large, temperature-controlled facility with over 500 employees working across five shifts. The dress code is relaxed, allowing sweatshirts, t-shirts, and hats, while work pants and jeans are acceptable. The facility is clean and safety is a top priority, requiring steel or composite toe shoes, earplugs, and protective glasses (provided by the company). Shifts include 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and AWS options, with overtime scheduled every other Saturday for most of 2025. Policies include strict adherence to cell phone and headphone usage, thorough safety training, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.47 - $24.47
