Regional Box Truck Driver (26-foot DOT) – Nightly Dedicated Route

Non-CDL Box Truck - Must have valid driver's license and DOT card.

Lafayette, GA

The Culinary Center is searching for an additional Regional Box Truck Driver! We are seeking a reliable and experienced driver to operate a 26-foot DOT box truck on a dedicated nightly route, starting and ending in Lafayette, GA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a 26-foot DOT box truck, adhering to all DOT regulations and company safety standards.

  • Complete a dedicated route nightly, ensuring on-time delivery of food goods.

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.

  • Communicate effectively with Culinary Center management and Branch Warehouse Leadership to address any issues that may arise during the route.

  • Handle and secure freight with care, following all company procedures for loading and unloading.

  • Maintain accurate logs and records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel.

Requirements:

  • Valid DOT medical card.

  • Driving record must comply with company standards.

  • Previous experience driving a 26-foot box truck or similar vehicle.

  • Ability to work a consistent nightly schedule.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

General Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 35-50lbs+; on a repetitive basis and have the ability to reach, bend, stoop on a frequent basis.

  • Work in a climate-controlled environment

  • Must be able to consent to a pre-employment background check and MVR history check.

  • Must be able to consent to a drug screen.

  • Ability to follow workplace safety policies and guidelines.
