A Day in The Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Evaluates software change requests to medical devices and supporting tools

• Designs, implements, and tests software changes for medical devices

• Participates in change control board, risk reviews, and other project meetings as necessary

• Works with cross functional team to communicate changes, and understand impacts to their function

• Creates documentation throughout the development process

• Commits to achieving and exceeding project goals and timelines

• Performs duties in compliance with the Quality System

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience

Nice to Have

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent

· 5+ years experience with C++/C

· Embedded programming experience

· Knowledge of OOA&D concepts

· Working knowledge of software development best practices.

· Experience in Linux driver development

· Understanding of cybersecurity best practices

· Experience with Yocto Linux

· Windows, and cloud platforms knowledge

· Experience with embedded graphics technologies

· Medical device experience

· Xilinx Toolchain experience

· Experience with Git, Bash, gnu tools

· Html, css, react, and javascript experience
