JOB SUMMARY

The Physical Therapist plans, interprets, and implements specific physical therapy treatment programs for patients.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required: Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate degree in physical therapy.

Preferred/Optional: None

EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required: None

Preferred/Optional: Experience as a physical therapist.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

Minimum Required:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.

  • Physical Therapist license awarded by the State of Wisconsin

Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.

  • Diverse patient caseload to include pediatric and adult outpatients, inpatients, and Swingbed patients.

  • Working in collaboration with PT, SLP, and other OTs for a team approach to patient care.

  • Many opportunities for personal growth and learning throughout the system

  • Specialization is supported with annual continuing education allowance

  • New medical facility open in March of 2023
