DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Production Associate Trainer to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Ladson, SC.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Ensure Safety : By stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately, you'll help maintain a safe working environment.
Promote Health : Reporting any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards ensures that health and safety standards are upheld.
Maintain Quality : Following standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures like Statistical Process Control (SPC) and poka-yoke helps minimize costs and quality exposures.
Achieve Production Goals : Operating manual and automated equipment efficiently to meet production goals and customer expectations.
Support Teamwork : Communicating effectively with your team and support teams to improve quality, safety, processes, and material flow.
Environmental Responsibility : Recognizing and minimizing the negative impact of your work on the environment.
Continuous Improvement : Engaging in training and personal development to stay aligned with business requirements and improve your skills.
Housekeeping and Maintenance : Keeping your work area clean and orderly, performing routine housekeeping tasks, and identifying equipment needing repair.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Lead training - Provide on-the-job training by presenting information, using a variety of instructional techniques to ensure operators are confident, skilled, and aligned with the company's procedures, standard work, and policies.
Evaluate performance - Use a variety of assessment techniques to gauge understanding and skill level, and provide personalized feedback to employees.
Assessing and evaluating learner progress - track employee's performance, provide constructive feedback, and adjust training as needed.
Monitor & Maintain Electronic Login System information
Participate and/or facilitate continuous improvement activities
