DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented 2nd shift Skilled Technician - Level III to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Ladson, SC.

Education:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Additional Information:
Troubleshoot and repair assembly line and CNC equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
Analyze electrical, mechanical and PLC systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
Work alongside the Operations team to prioritize maintenance tasks and support corrective engineering solutions.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safe systems of work, including confined spaces and working at heights when necessary.
Follow industry best practices and HSE fundamentals, ensuring compliance with machine guarding, electrical safety, and other safety protocols.
Work individually and alongside team to achieve key performance targets including equipment uptime, Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
Operate, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of company equipment and systems to maintain optimal performance.
Highly Preferred Experience :
Proven hands-on experience with electrical and PLC systems
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills with an ability to quickly diagnose and repair machinery.
Comprehensive knowledge of HSE fundamentals, including LOTO processes, machine guarding, and electrical safety.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a results-driven mindset.
Ability to meet equipment uptime, MTTR, and MTBF performance targets.
Experience collaborating with engineering teams (Controls and Manufacturing Engineers) to address complex issues and drive improvements.
Experience working in an automotive or assembly line manufacturing facility.
Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Competency in using and maintaining various tools and equipment required for electrical and mechanical maintenance.
