Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

• Operate the end welder, supplying steel for the mill to operate at high efficiency.

• Assist changeover and setup the mill.

• Able to identify various tube sizes, gauges, and steel types.

• Able to read all measuring instruments necessary for the operation of the end welder and mill.

• Take courses for lift truck operator and crane operator to obtain appropriate certification.

Hard Skills

• Reading measurements

• Operating at a fast pace

• Standing on your feet all day

• Lifting 50lbs regularly

• Working knowledge and willingness to learn to operate an AS-400 computer terminal

• Maintenance experience (preferred)

• Problem-solving

• Detail-oriented

• Open-minded

• Troubleshooting

This is a fully on-site position in Lackawanna, New York.
