The Shorelands & Environmental Assistance{rel="nofollow"} (SEA) programwithin the Department of Ecology is looking to fill two *Financial Manager (Environmental Specialist 4) (In-Training options available) positions. 

This position can be located in any one of the following offices:

Headquarters Office in* *Lacey, WA.{rel="nofollow"}

Northwest Region Office (NWRO) *in Shoreline, WA{rel="nofollow"}. *Central Region Office (CRO) in Union Gap, WA{rel="nofollow"}. Eastern Region Office (ERO) in Spokane, WA{rel="nofollow"}.

Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.

Please Note: If the final location of this position is determined to be in our Northwest Region Office (NWRO) in Shoreline, WA{target="_blank" rel="noopener"}. there will be an additional 5% pay increase due to its location in King County. In this instance the salary range will be $4977- $7770 per month.    The Shorelands and Environmental Assistance Program has a broad portfolio of work ranging from the Washington Conservation Corps, Applied Coastal Research and Engineering, permitting, shoreline management, flood prevention and protection, wetland management, and lots more! This is a dynamic program with a wide variety of interesting projects. You'll gain experience providing grant funding to outside partners to do on-the-ground environmental work to improve Washington's environment for generations to come! As part of the financial management team, you would gain experience in multi-tasking, managing deadlines, project management, and writing, as well as develop expertise in grant management, state contracting requirements, and procurement policies. Note: *This position offers a career path and on-the-job training. This position allows you to progress through the *Environmental Specialist field and achieve the goal class of an Environmental Specialist 4. Candidates will be considered at the Environmental Specialist 3 and* Environmental Specialist 4* levels, depending on their qualifications. Please Note: This is a project position that is funded until August 31, 2027. The Funding for this position being renewed depends on the next bi-annual budget.
