Actalent Project Engineer in LaBelle, Florida

Job Title: Project EngineerJob Description

The Project Engineer will be tasked with the routine management of all on-site project administration, scheduling, and engineering. This includes planning, coordinating and managing on-site construction engineering activities, communicating with subcontractors, preparing monthly pay estimates, updating the Project CPM schedule, and preparing, coordinating and updating job budgets, change orders, and cost reports for management review and approval.

Hard Skills

  • Prepare and/or control drawings, plans, quantity reports

  • Review subcontractor pay estimates prior to management’s approval

  • Review the owner’s pay estimate prior to management’s approval

  • Supervise cost report management and lead regular review meetings

  • Supervise project CPM management and lead regular review meetings

  • Manage project document control system

  • Prepare all required information for presentation at project reviews

  • Prepare quantity take off and assist during bidding process

Soft Skills

  • Identify issues early and work to develop solutions

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in LaBelle, Florida.

Work Environment

The work environment will be primarily on-site at the C43 reservoir.
