Job Title: Collections AssociateJob Description
Under the supervision of the Credit and Collections Supervisor/Manager, a Collector ensures professional and courteous representation. The role involves calling customers to collect on past due invoices and researching and reconciling open issues such as credits, unapplied cash, misapplied cash, and disputes. Responsibilities include contacting customers for past due balances, communicating with field personnel, mailing or faxing correspondence, placing/releasing customer account holds, working with collection agencies, and providing management status of past due accounts.
Hard Skills
Research abilities for reviewing customer accounts
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to make quick and accurate decisions
1+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
1+ years of prior Collections experience
Comfortable with Microsoft Excel including formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables
Capability to type 35 WPM
Soft Skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities
Capacity to work under pressure
Adaptability to an ever-changing environment

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in La Vergne, Tennessee.
Work Environment
Corporate office environment, 100% on-site, Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm or 7:30am to 4:00pm
