Randstad is seeking contractors for Reboxing and Indexing roles at one of the leading companies in document scanning and digital storage services at their La Palma location!

This position requires physical activity and attention to detail, as contractors will move, organize, and prepare boxes for data entry. You can start as soon as possible, with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Move boxes using a U-boat cart from the pallet area into the office space, as pallets do not fit inside the room.

• Offload one box at a time and take it to the designated desk for processing.

• Build new boxes as needed while indexing files.

• Re-box files into new boxes, ensuring all materials are organized properly.

• Place a piece of tissue at the top of each new box and cardstock on the sides of the boxes.

• Apply four labels on the outside of each box.

• Break down old boxes and prepare for the next batch of files.

• Perform data entry tasks as required.

• Achieve a target of processing 30 boxes per day.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends
