O'Neal Industries, Inc. Operations Associate - 2nd Shift - Los Angeles - $1,000 Sign-On Bonus in La Mirada, California
Description
As an Operations Associate, you will be working with our Machine Operators to create quality parts. You will be introduced to our machinery and trained to safely run them, as well as forklifts and overhead cranes. You will also have the opportunity to master machinery that flattens, slits, and edges stainless steel and high-temp alloys so they can be used in industries such as aerospace, medical devices, and power generation.
$1,000 Sign-On Bonus after 90-days
Starting Wage: $20- $22 depending on experience
TRAINING WILL OCCUR ON 1ST SHIFT for the first 90 days (7 am - 5:30 pm)
2nd Shift (12 pm - 10:30 pm) After the initial training on 1st
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Following directions from Operators
General fork truck operator & crane operations & basic material handling
Assures sufficient supply of goods/inventory control
Pull material from stock
Process orders
Check all specified tolerances
Package material
Prepare the order to be shipped
Return unused material to inventory
Manage space by consolidating material
Housekeeping
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Warehouse experience
Machine operating experience
Forklift & Crane experience
