Robert Half Security Analyst in La Jolla, California

Description

Robert Half is seeking highly talented Security Analysts. In this role, you'll be responsible for monitoring security systems, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and ensuring information remains secure. We value continuous learners who stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies.

Job Description:

  • Conduct regular security assessments using variety tools and methodologies.

  • Research and identify possible security vulnerabilities and threats.

  • Advise organization on security best practices and new security technologies.

  • Assist with security incident response and remediation.

  • Monitor security systems and take necessary actions based on alerts.

  • Document all security incidents and provide report to management.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security.

  • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (ISO27001/27002, NIST, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of network, database and system security technology.

  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

  • Experience with securing cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, etc.) is advantageous.

  • CISSP, CISM, or similar security-related certifications are desirable.
