WorkSource Oregon Temporary Front Office Specialist in LA GRANDE, Oregon

Temporary position with potential for continued work during tax season. REQUIREMENTS: * 1 year office experience preferred. * Complete writing and math assessment with WorkSource Oregon. * Pass background check. RESPONSIBLITIES: * Manages the reception area to ensure effective telephone and mail communications both internally and externally to maintain professional image. * Supervises and coordinates overall administrative activities for the Office. * Supervises the maintenance of office areas and equipment, as well as layout, arrangement and housekeeping of office facilities and supplies. * Anticipate needed supplies for entire staff, negotiates purchases, and verify receipts. * Organize office operations and procedures. * Respond to client\'s that cannot climb stairs and use a buzzer to notify office. This requires climbing 2 flights of stairs (approximately 30 stairs) up and down. * Handle office correspondence according to guidelines set by office. * Design, maintain office filing records system. * Process Audit Reports. * Set up meeting locations and lunches for office. * Go to store to get general kitchen supplies and items for special needs. * Kitchen duties including ordering Pepsi products and stocking all kitchen areas as needed. * Job requires sitting, standing, and lifting items up to 30 pounds. HOURS: * 40 hours per week. * Temporary position through the end of the year. * Potential for continued work during tax season. WAGE and BENEFITS: * Starting at \$18 per hour and depending on experience.
