WorkSource Oregon Sales Associate in La Grande, Oregon
Family-owned footwear store seeking experienced Sales Associate. Qualifications: * 1 to 5 years customer service experience preferred. * QuickBooks and inventory experience preferred. Duties: * Provide quality customer service by greeting customers and assisting with merchandise selection. Focus on specialization of footwear needs. * Receive merchandise, arrange displays, and stock shelves. * Use computers for inventory. * Operate POS and handle cash. * Regularly maneuver up to 35 pounds from floor to shelf. * Help with opening and closing of the store. * Help maintain a safe and clean environment. * Regularly stand, bend and kneel for inventory and customer service. * Perform general cleaning duties to maintain a clean store environment. Hours: * About 29 hours per week. * Monday - Thursday, 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Wage: * Starting at \$13.70 per hour with opportunity for performance based wage increase after 3 months. Eligible for tips. * Begin with 10% employee discount with increase to 30% employee discount after 3 months. * Employer is exploring additional employee benefits.
