Supply Chain Analyst II Hiring Salary Range: $65,300 - $98,000
Compensation is determined by a combination of factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications. The actual offer may vary, reflecting the candidate's unique blend of experience, educational background, and skill level.
The Supply Chain Analyst II works to drive supply chain excellence, including inventory control at the La Crosse warehouse and other Power Supply and Power Delivery locations. Uses analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance supply chain processes. This position will be responsible for assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations which support supply chain management planning and operations. This role will also analyze the movement of goods through the supply pipeline, monitor current processes, identify, and analyze gaps, and develop process improvements.
The Impact You'll Make in this Role:
Responsible for inventory control processes. Oversees receiving, handling, storing, picking, packing and return activities, ensuring timely, accurate and efficient fulfillment of orders to support business needs. Process accurate increases, reductions, and adjustments to the inventory. Work with cross functional teams throughout the business to resolve discrepancies.
Controls inventory levels by coordinating physical counts per policies and procedures; reconciling with supply chain management system.
Assists in procurement activities.
Gathers and interprets relevant data (costs, productivity, demand patterns, etc.). Uses skills in database management and spreadsheet analysis to help the business increase cash flows, inventory turns, and employee productivity.
Identifies and investigates problems, finds root causes, and develops solutions to drive process excellence and reduce enterprise risk.
Develops and maintains performance reports, distributes them to stakeholders and assists in driving accountability to achieve goals.
Monitors contract compliance of vendors and service providers.
Coordinate’s delivery schedules and other supply chain activities.
Acts as a subject matter expert on supply chain management systems and provides training to others within the organization as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration or related field plus a minimum of three (3) years related experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Process improvement experience preferred. Knowledge of utility and union organizations beneficial.
Skills:
• Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in supply chain management
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Familiar with logistics and production planning concepts
• Ability to work with individuals at all organizational levels
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Experience with supply chain software, and spreadsheet and database proficiency required
• Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient at documentation, record keeping, and the ability to organize, interpret, and report large volumes of information and data within time deadlines
• Experience with accounting principles and basic financial analysis
Licenses and Certifications : Valid Driver’s License

Frequent interaction with management personnel of coal companies, railroads, terminals and barge lines and the ability to provide strong internal support for data management, reporting, and business controls.
