Aerotek is Hiring for General Production Worker at a Local Manufacturing company at La Crosse, WI.
Job Description
As a General Production Worker, you will frequently handle bags of product weighing between 1-20 lbs and occasionally bags weighing 21-50 lbs. You will be responsible for various tasks associated with the production line including reading ingredients, counting bags, placing scoops in containers, stacking and sealing products, and dumping bags into equipment.
Responsibilities
Read ingredients and count the number of bags on a pallet.
Place scoops in cans, jars, or buckets and place lids on them.
Stack bags or cans of product as they come off the production lines.
Seal bags or cans of product as they come off the production lines.
Bag product as it comes off the production lines.
Dump bags of product into appropriate equipment on the production lines.

Work Environment
You will be working in a food production facility where food particles may be present in the air in certain areas. Safety PPE is required to ensure a safe working environment. Various shifts are available: 1st Shift (7am - 3pm), 2nd Shift (3pm - 11pm), and 3rd Shift (11pm - 7am).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.62 - $20.61
