Financial Controller

What would you do as our Financial Controller

As our Financial Controller you will manage all aspects of financial management. This includes financial controlling and reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will manage the financial matters of the manufacturing company, communicate risks to management in a timely manner, and propose solutions to observed risks.

You would also:

  • Prepare financial reporting and analysis as well as analyse and monitor monthly financial closing and weekly reporting

  • Manage the budgeting and ad-hoc forecasting processes and monitor and analyse budget variances

  • Provide support for the year-end financial audit in close cooperation with the Chief Accountant

  • Collaborate with sales and production departments to analyse financial performance and optimize efforts as well as optimize control tools to improve the reporting process

  • Develop and document business processes and policies to maintain and strengthen internal control

    The skills and experience you need

    We are looking for someone who has:

  • Strong strategic thinking skills to develop effective reporting structures and processes

  • Strong orientation towards modern controlling tools and automation as well as knowledge of accounting and income tax law, both local and IFRS

  • Preferable prior experience in a matrix environment in other international companies

  • Experience with cost accounting in a manufacturing company

  • Practical knowledge and experience in working with ERP systems (Dynamics AX/SAP) as well as excellent proficiency in Excel
