We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Vice President, Operations Core Project Lead Analyst (Internal Job Title: Project Management Lead - C13) based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Lead analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
The individual will work on the Asset Servicing Transformation program for the core Asset Servicing applications including upgrades, lead phases of the project lifecycle for strategic, cross functional business initiatives. The program this role will focus on is system replat forming including the main Asset Servicing processing platforms and peripheral systems. Additional projects may involve: process optimization, risk mitigation, regulatory mandates and operating model re-engineering.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day to day management of executing to milestones and budget on one or more projects.
Stakeholder requirements gathering
Test planning and execution
Identify and escalate project risks and issues to the Program Manager, when appropriate.
Work with Project Lead to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis is in line with business objectives and confirm project plans meet business needs as described in the project initiation documents...
Provides sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Qualifications:
6-10 years relevant experience
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
Extensive Asset Servicing experience
Business analysis and project experience
Fully knowledgeable on the day-to-day activities of a product or process; Basic understanding of the firm's different businesses and the related economics ; Individual is expected to be subject area expert in one (or more) specific skill sets
Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives
