Veralto Field Service Technician in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
TITLE: Field Service Technician - APAC
REPORTS TO: Feng Zhou – Associate Sales Operation Director

Position Summary
Field service technicians play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of various systems and equipment. They are responsible for installing, repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment at client sites, providing technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Working closely with HQ teams, the position provides critical supports to the success of our proactive customer focused Services.
Accountabilities
Installation and Maintenance: Provide guidance on installing new equipment, perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspections, ensure the proper functioning of systems
Trouble-shooting: Identify and diagnose problems with equipment onsite and remotely, determine the root cause of issues and develop effective solutions
Repair and replacement: Repair or replace faulty components, parts, and systems, and ensure the timely restoration of equipment to its operational state
Technical support: Provide technical guidance and advice to customers, answer questions, and resolve technical issues
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities, including equipment maintenance, repairs, and replacement, and generate reports as required
Customer service: Build strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and provide excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction

Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders, internal customers and associates in a fast-paced global environment
Self-motivated and able to multi-task and balance workload priorities to manage concurrent, conflicting priorities but still meet and negotiate deadlines under pressure
Attention to detail combined with strong organizational and scheduling skills
Strong team skills and acumen – be aligned with the business vision and common goals while achieving individual performance objectives.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree in a relevant technical field, such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or electronics, is preferred
At least 3 years of field service experience in MicroE, F&B or adjacent industries
Fluent spoken & written English is a must, Malay and/orChinese Mandarin is a plus
Strong technical skills, including knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, troubleshooting techniques, and the ability to use tools and equipment. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are also essential
Relevant certifications, such as electrical safety certification, maintenance technician certification, is preferred
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in various environments, and perform physically demanding tasks
