Assurance and Reporting Manager
We’re hiring! We are looking for an Assurance and Reporting Manager to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from the office.

What the day will look like
Execute and implement Aon Asia Compliance Assurance Framework and Program, which includes conducting assurance work to appraise adequacy of internal control systems against Global/Regional Compliance policies and processes, including but not limited to Client Entertainment Requests (CER), Third Party Requests (TP requests), Conflicts of Interest (COI), Sanctions, AML.
Document observations and findings, support in the remediation of identified gaps and enhance controls. Prepare reports on audit findings, escalate and report to regional management as appropriate.
Analyze compliance data which is critical to provide senior management insight into future trends to help mitigate potential compliance risks.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
6-8 years’ experience in assurance and audit, including proven success participating in a three lines of defense framework.
2+ years leading compliance/audit management functions within a large sophisticated financial/professional services organization.
Adept in advising and managing and advising the business on financial crime and regulatory risks
Self-starting and entrepreneurial with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Independent with an ability to engage with senior stakeholders
Adept at presentation and reporting skills
Excellent written and spoken English
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience
