Hyatt Assistant Manager - Stewarding, Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur in KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia

Description:

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate, guest and owner expectations. The Assistant Manager - Stewarding is responsible for assisting the Stewarding Manger in managing the Stewarding Department as an efficient, and productive cost centre, by maintaining an organised and clean back-of-house area in Food and Beverage and by providing all kitchens, outlets and event service with clean operating equipment, based on expected business levels.

Qualifications:

  • Due to work permit restrictions, this position is only open for Malaysian citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia.

  • Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Restaurant Management.

  • Work experience as an Assistant Manager - Stewarding or Team Leader - Stewarding within luxury hotels or restaurants is preferred.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of stewarding operations, including dishwashing procedures, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and other departments, and strong organizational and time management abilities.
