Hyatt Assistant Manager - Events Operation, Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur in KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia

Description:

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate, guest and owner expectations. The Assistant Manager - Events Operation will support the Event Service Manager in overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of events and functions, ensuring exceptional service delivery and guest satisfaction. The Assistant Manager - Events Operation is responsible for understanding event requirements through the sales and events teams, coordinating with various hotel departments, managing event staff, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to maximizing revenue.

Qualifications:

  • Due to work permit restrictions, this position is only open for Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia.

  • Ideally with a university degree/diploma in Hospitality/Tourism management.

  • Work experience as an Assistant Manager - Events Operation or Banquet within luxury hotels is preferred.

  • Comprehensive understanding of event planning, coordination, and execution processes.

  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, with keen attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and handle high-stress situations effectively, along with the ability to problem-solve and make quick, effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
