Position Overview

Autodesk is looking for an Intern Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Generative Design and Simulation team in Krakow. Our team develops generative design (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtYRfMzmWFU&t=1s) , automated modeling (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zEM2zbS-cbo) , and other cutting-edge technologies integrated in Autodesk Fusion 360 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0ufZB_6oxk&list=PLmA_xUT-8UlIhk5Vu96fMEMOeWD4K8VKv&index=8) . As a member of the cross-functional agile team you will collaborate with developers, product owners, user experience designers, and have a huge impact on how we design, build, and deliver our products to millions of professionals. As an Intern Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for developing and executing exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality before it is released to the customers.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies: planning, Daily Scrum, backlog refinement, sprint review and retrospective to gather requirements; estimate, plan and execute testing activities; report progress to stakeholders

  • Develop and execute software test plans at the user interface level, including functional tests, performance tests and workflow tests to identify system and software problems and their causes

  • Add automated test cases using already existing frameworks and learn how to create your own tools to automate your work

  • Collaborate with teammates and other teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Minimum Qualifications

  • Studying towards a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or similar

  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript and/or Node.js

  • Very good written and verbal English communication skills, including writing, speaking, and presenting in English

  • Welcoming new challenges and readiness to extend knowledge outside current area of expertise

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Playwright a framework for Web Testing and Automation

  • Experience in writing simple scripts to speed up your work and are willing to develop in this direction
